*THIRD TOP WINNING SAMOYED IN CANADA FOR 2005*
Manny was the Top Winning Samoyed Puppy in Canada in 2003, Award of Merit and Sweepstakes BOS at the Samoyed Association of Canada National Specialty in 2004, won BEST IN SHOW, earned his C.D. in obedience and sired his first litter at Dushanbe Samoyeds in 2005. So far in 2006, he has seen four kids earn their championship (one was American) and another pointed out of a litter of six and had a wonderful weekend at Cobequid shows by winning a First and Second in Group and watching his daughter, Macy, win Best Puppy In Show.
Manny has three new pointed kids in 2009. Rory and Josie are daughters of our Dory and Newman is a son of our Tenny. Newman went Best of Winners for two points on his six month birthday at Halifax Kennel Club shows Sept 7, 2009 and then placed third in the 6-9 puppy class at the SCA Nat'l in Indianapolis. *NEWS FLASH* Newman's litter sister went to her first dog show at Golden Valley Kennel Club in California Nov 20/09 and won Winners Bitch in an entry of five girls and...almost went BWs which would have been a major. Judge was the noted Charles Trotter. Miley was handled beautifully by the owner's teenaged son, Isaac Fornari. So that makes four pointed Manny kids this year. Two from each litter.
Manny has not been sitting on his laurels but has been working hard towards his Rally Advance Excellent title which he completed a Dartmouth Kennel Club trials May 16, 2010.
Manny was the first Samoyed in Canada to earn rally novice, rally advanced, rally excellent and rally advanced excellent titles as well as the first to earn his Grand Championship. You could say we're just a bit proud of our accomplished boy !
We are also hoping for new puppies from him in a proposed fall litter out of our Fonzie daughter, "BREEZE".
CHAMPION DUSHANBE'S MAKE MINE COOL MINT (sired by BISS BIS CAN.AM.CH. VANDERBILT'S PLAYIN' IT COOL X CH. VANDERBILT PAINT ME PRETENTIOUS CGN ROMC)"TENNYSON" is pictured at 18 months showing off his very FONZIE-like face. (Hips and eyes certified). He is now AKC pointed with a win at San Mateo Kennel Club March 27, 2010 under judge Jane Roppolo and handled by Cody Fornari of San Francisco.
He is very proud of daughter, ASIA's, three Best of Winners at Tantramar KC shows for six points plus Best in Sweeps at the SAC National Specialty on her first weekend out at six months of age. Her next trip out (South Shore KC)resulted in a Best of Breed, Fourth in Group and Best Puppy In Group for a four point win to finish her championship ! Son, "MAC", has several group placings from his match appearances and at his first point show, the SAC National Specialty, was Reserve Winners Dog, Best Puppy and BOS in Puppy Sweepstakes.
Not to be outdone by his kids, Tennyson finished in style at Cape Breton Kennel Club shows Aug 23 & 24/08 with back-to-back Best of Breeds and two Group Fourths for 2 x 4 points ! Thank you to judges David Paterson and Dr Robert Smith.
**Tennyson had a litter of five girls and four boys born May, 2009 out of BIS BISS CAN.AM.CH. SNOWSTAR LADAKHA SUMMER SONGS in PEI. We have a boy, "CHIP", here and the breeders, SNOWSTAR SAMOYEDS, have kept a girl, "SIZZLE", who will be hitting the show rings in 2010. Watch out for them...they are smoking HOT !
He also had a litter of three girls and two boys born here at Dushanbe November 10, 2009 out of "DORY". If this litter is anything like his first two, the kids will be out and dazzling the judges in no time.
Gypsy has already wowed the judges with a match group first at three months of age in Pennsylvania ! **And then Gypsy went to a weekend of international shows and now has her Puppy International Championship with two Best Puppy In Show ! Way to go Gypsy and Doreen.
Tennyson is currently with Debbie Fornari in San Francisco for shows and to be used at stud while there. Their Arwen, SILVERPLUME'S EVENSTAR, has been bred to Tennyson and is due in May.

"MENLEY" is co-owned by Bonnie Tam and Patrick Wong-Tung of Pickering, Ontario and proudly handled by Bonnie to Two Best of Breed at the Ontario Breeders Shows for FIVE points from the junior puppy class. This was followed by Best of Breed and three Best of Winners at Norfolk Shows to finish his championship at nine months of age. At fourteen months he came home to NS for a visit and took home two Group Thirds for souvenirs !
Newman congratulates his eight month old litter sister, "Miley", (DUSHANBE'S BEST OF BOTH WORLDS) on going Winners Bitch at her very first show Nov 20/09 under respected judge Charles Trotter. Miley was shown at the Golden Valley Kennel Club shows in California by the owner's teenaged son, Isaac Fornari, who dazzled the judge while defeating several pro handled bitches and was even a close call for BWs (which would have been a major).
Newman went to his first show weekend in 2010 and won bac-to-back Best of Breeds. He is now within a few points of finishing his championship. Check back often to hear more news of these two siblings while competing on opposite coasts and in different countries.
