Mandy's sire, Manny (BIS Ch. Vanderbilt's Man O' War, CD, CGN, TT) and her mother, Tenny (Ch. Vanderbilt Paint Me Pretentious CGN), produced such a quality filled litter that we were very excited to see them in the ring.
Three of Mandy's siblings finished their championship as puppies with Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Group wins. Her sister, Macy, also won Best Puppy In Show.
Brother,Painter, who lives in New Orleans finished his American championship in style by winning Best in Sweepstakes and Best of Winners at the Greater Atlanta Samoyed Specialty show (for a four point major) and followed it up with a three point major at the all breed show the following day.
Tessa, the only companion puppy in this litter of six is in a wonderful home in Toronto where she does 'neighbourhood watch' from the livingroom window !
Mandy only attended a few shows to get acclimatized to the noisy show setting but wasn't content to be in her sister's shadow and beat Macy her first weekend out to start her own title run. We kept Mandy safely at home until June when she won the day after Macy finished her championship. Unfortunately Mandy then decided to blow coat so will have to wait until 2007 to make another appearance at the shows.
