*NEW CHAMPION*  VANDERBILT'S ROCKIN' THE BOAT
"DORY", *NEW* CH. VANDERBILT'S ROCKIN' THE BOAT, is a 'chip off the block' of her mother Shale. Shale (Ch. Vanderbilt's Rock Anthem) has produced children and grandchildren throughout North America with her amazing structure and movement and we fully expect DORY to follow in this family tradition.

We first saw Dory as a puppy when visiting Vanderbilt Samoyeds but knew that Judi had a soft spot for this particular puppy. We saw her again on another visit when she was totally naked after a litter of puppies yet her movement was so magical that we knew we had to have her.

We are expecting that Dory will reproduce the structure and movement that drew us to her in the beginning and anticipate wonderful puppies over the next few years here at Dushanbe.

We had Dory out to a few shows to get her used to this new phase in her life and she went Reserve Winners back-to-back the very first weekend.

She got off to a great start in 2008 by winning Best of Breed at Cobequid Dog Club in March and and was best of winners both days at Pictou County Kennel Club to bring her within one point of finishing her championship. Thinking that she was going to start blowing coat again, we kept her home while showing other girls but entered her just one day at Evangeline Kennel Club shows. Her coat held and she looked beautiful...and finished with a two point win under judge Phyllis Wolfish!

Next on the agenda is to decide who the lucky daddy will be of her next litter.

Many thanks to Judi and Blair Elford for agreeing to share this wonderful girl with us.

Hips and eyes certified normal.
